Rather than fundraising for itself, Tam Pacific encourages donors to give directly to the experienced nonprofit housing entities that we support, and who are doing the hard work on the ground. (See information and contacts, below the categories.)

Resources for Community Development
For almost 40 years, Resources for Community Development has created and preserved affordable housing for very low- and low-income individuals and families, to build community and enrich lives. The problem we continue to address is how low-income individuals and families can continue to live and work in an increasingly expensive Bay Area.
Housing Advocacy
Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative (MEHC)
MEHC builds public support for projects and policies that advance affordable housing, environmental integrity, and social justice. We speak up in support of housing, write opinion and educational pieces, track local government meetings and mobilize support for projects and policies. Our website, The Housing Hub, serves as a housing clearinghouse in Marin, with updated information on Marin housing projects, public meetings and housing news.
Buckelew
Founded in 1970 as a supported housing program in Marin County, Buckelew has become the most comprehensive nonprofit provider of behavioral health and addiction services in the North Bay, primarily serving Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties. Core programs include Counseling, Service Navigation, Substance Use Recovery, Supported Housing and Suicide Prevention. Buckelew’s Supported Housing programs combine affordable housing with critical services that help individuals progress toward greater independence.
Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco (HGSF)
HGSF builds and preserves affordable homeownership for low-income working families in San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin Counties. We are proud of the leadership role we have historically played and continue to play in responding to the Bay Area’s affordability crisis, building more 100% affordable homeownership opportunities for families in the 50-120% AMI range than any other nonprofit developer in this region.
Housing for Seniors
PEP Housing
We will continue to carry on her vision of bringing quality affordable housing to communities serving older adults with limited incomes.
Ross Valley Ecumenical Housing Association (Tam House) Ross Valley Ecumenical Housing Association owns two houses with 21 private rooms in San Anselmo for fully independent seniors 63 and over. This is shared, communal, cooperative housing open to those who can contribute to the house.
The Redwoods
In 1972, The Redwoods, a non-profit retirement community located in Mill Valley, was opened to meet the need in Marin County for affordable, quality residential care for seniors, particularly those with low and moderate incomes. Our mission is to promote good health, well-being, and security to a diverse group of seniors.
West Marin
Community Land Trust of West Marin
As a community land trust, CLAM acquires and holds land for the benefit of the community and its future generations. As a membership organization, CLAM is supported by the community in which we work. Our success is a direct result of your participation and your financial support for the creation of affordable homes in West Marin.
Two Valleys Community Land Trust
Since 1978, The San Geronimo Valley Affordable Housing Association (SGVAHA) has worked to create, preserve, and manage affordable homes in the San Geronimo Valley to preserve a culturally and economically diverse community. Now, as Two Valleys Community Land Trust (TVCLT), the organization is expanding this work and extending it into Nicasio Valley.
