Tamalpais Pacific is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, tax exempt as a public charity under IRC Section 501(c)(3). Our targeted mission is to increase the supply of bricks-and-mortar affordable housing in Marin and the North Bay.  To this end, we help fund other 501(c)(3) organizations in their construction of new housing. We also help fund the preservation of naturally occurring affordable housing stock, either through rehabilitation of units or conversion of market rate housing to long term affordability.  Projects range across the housing eco-system, from work force housing to supportive housing for the homeless.
